The Diamond Tail was designed in the 70’s to  have the speed of the favored squash tail but to have the hold and turning ability of a pin tail.

The Diamond Tail’s tail shortens the rail length by about 3/4’’—1’’ which makes the board feel a hole lot looser especially off your front hand top turns. It also gives the board more hold in the pocket and longer barrel rides.
